The SLC Group has been delivering outcome focussed services for over ten years to adults and young people with Mental Health issues, Physical Disabilities, Sight Impairments, Hearing Impairments, Learning Disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

  • Our services are bespoke to each person and we can accommodate people using their own budget. 
  • Accredited by Supporting People in 11 Local Areas - including Birmingham City 
  • CQC 3 star 'excellent' service provider.
  • Investors in People (IIP) Accredited 
  • Working with over 20 Local Authorities as preferred providers.
  • Members of In Control - driving forward Personalisation.

Services Provided

We have contracts to deliver housing related support services for people with:

  • Broad range of Mental Health Issues.
  • Physical Disabilities 
  • Hearing Impairments
  • Sight Impairments 
  • Dual Diagnosis

Other Services Provided

SLC Paragon also provides care and support to people with:

  • Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders and labile Mental Health conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

All referrals are considered on a case by case basis. We look at where and when the service is required and then ensure that we have the staff available who match the specific needs of the individual being referred.

We provide services to a diverse range of vulnerable people with mental health issues and potentially a diverse range of presenting needs including but not exclusively:

  • Behaviours that challenge services including secondary needs resulting from cyclical long term homelessness
  • Forensic/Offending histories
  • New communities and conflict/trauma related mental health issues
  • Settled BME communities
  • Women (including those with children)
  • People experiencing mental health issues as a result of prolonged abuse including domestic violence
  • Gender and age sensitive services including populations that are growing older with mental health difficulties.
  • Specific requirements of Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) communities
  • Dual Diagnosis/ cross linkages for mental health and e.g. ASD, physical or sensory disabilities, long- term illnesses and substance misuse

Partner Organisations

We are committed to working in partnership with other organisations in order to improve our services and to improve the wider mental health sector. We are part of the Strategic Network for Mental Health which is a unique alliance of four medium-sized organisations that have agreed to work as partners, share their experience and resources, and build on their common philosophy and purpose for the benefit of mental health service users across the country.
