Background/History

R&J Supported Housing Ltd opened its doors in the South of Birmingham to offer accommodation for service users suffering with enduring mental health problems in June 1994. We continue to offer accommodation for up to 13 service users over three properties. Our aims are to help service users build life skills, to promote independence and equality, to offer a safe and secure environment for all. We work alongside other agencies (social care /health, mental health teams) to offer a complete package of support to our service users.

Our aim is to prevent hospital re-admissions, suicide, reoffending, homelessness, and disengagement from services with proactive crisis intervention. We work as a close knit team offering a quality and efficient service, all staff are highly qualified and we ensure all of the team offer dignity and respect to all service users their families and friends.
