Aspect Care Ltd

Mission Statement

Aspects Care strives to assist in providing or ensuring a safe, secure and culturally sensitive environment for adults with mental health issues who require support and / or domiciliary care. Ensuring that client’s health and welfare rights are protected and to assist them, wherever possible, in improving or enhancing their independent living skills.

Background/History

Aspects Care is a domiciliary care agency registered with the Care Quality Commission as a ‘Good’ service.
The inception of Aspects Care began in 2004, having been approached by South Birmingham Primary Care Trust who were looking for a provider to provide support services and accommodation for adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Disabilities.

Aspects Care has grown dramatically since its inception, we now provide support for 30 individuals and have over 150 staff. Some of these service users are private, others have been referred to us via Birmingham Social Care and Health, Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and the South Birmingham’s Primary Care Trust.
We also work closely with a number of Registered Social Landlords to provide us with properties for service users to reside within if needed. This gives service users the opportunity to maintain their own tenancies and live as independently as possible.
We provide support for people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours, Forensic Backgrounds, Mental Health, Physical Disabilities and Older People. All of our service users live within their own homes and our support workers attend the service user’s home to offer support.
Support is tailored to the service user’s individual needs via a person centred plan. The service user, their family, friends and advocates are involved in this process to ensure that all of the service user’s requirements, outcomes and expectations of the service are met.
